Offensively he's kind of like Meyer, and his offense can be successful without top level players like what Urban did at Utah and Bowling Green. I still think that a stud QB in Ohio is going to probably lean toward Ohio State, Notre Dame, Michigan, maybe even Penn State, but Cincy could get in there. Now is a good time though for them if they're going to find a QB. OSU has Pryor, Notre Dame is pretty set, and Michigan has two good frosh. But let's be honest, Kelly is going to go as soon as he is offered a top level job. He's not going to leave for a low level BCS team like Northwestern or Iowa State, but someone big time will need a coach and he will be one of the prime candidates. Programs that are trying to establish themselves usually have to be built through 3 or 4 coaches, as successful guys find themselves with better job opportunities. Cincy is a good team but it is not and will never be the same as a job at Oklahoma or another top level team. They could possibly become like another WVU, but WVU has had great success in their past, and even though West Virginia isn't a football hot-bed, they do own their state. And WVU has a strong hold in Florida thanks to Rich Rod and Doc Holliday. Also, WVU was lucky to get Pat White, Steve Slaton, Owen Schmidtt who kind of instantly made the Mountaineers legit. I like Pike but he is no Pat White. I don't thnk Gilyard is Steve Slaton. Cincy doesn't have the talent to beat the elites, and once that is exposed this season it's just going to be more obvious that BK is only a temporary fix. Luckily, the program will be in great shape and in a good direction and that should make it easier for the next coach to build on that success.

Miami has to recruit SFL against FSU, UF and now USF along with every major program in the country that recruits the area. Also invalid. I find your argument 1000% flawed... You probably can answer this. Who are the top 3 rated seniors in Cincy, and where have they committed? How about Jrs? I really have no idea and I think this could be informational concerning the topic.

Hicks and James are undecided, Smith is a verbal to UC and Norwell is going to OSU. Most think James will land at UC and Hicks has UC way down on his list...

Just a couple of years ago UC wouldn't have even been in the conversation for these kids. As far as NC possibilities. Sure it's possible with an undefeated season.
