September 25, 200917 yr We'll see. He's no where close to being on that level right now. The media does love him though and it's sickening because he's not even one of the 5 best young QB's in college football. I'd take JH (obviously), Robert Griffin, Russell Wilson, Forcier, Barkley, and a few others over him. I think he is just a Tyrod Taylor that gets to play at a huge media market. He is an awful passer. You put Forcier above Pryor after 3 games? Also Barlkley has not done anything this year so far.
September 25, 200917 yr You put Forcier above Pryor after 3 games? Also Barlkley has not done anything this year so far. Pryor is a long way from being in this thread.
September 25, 200917 yr You put Forcier above Pryor after 3 games? Also Barlkley has not done anything this year so far. Yes. Both have showed me just as much if not more than Pryor. Forcier led a last minute comback drive against Notre Dame. When's the last time Pryor did that? Sure Notre Dame's not that good, but Michigan is extremely young. Forcier has accomplished more in 3 games than Pryor has in his career, considering the amount of talent they play with. Who is Pryor's signature win against? A 3-9 Michigan team last year? Pryor is overrated. He is one of the worst passers in the BCS conferences, and hasn't shown the ability like a Vick or Pat White to dominate quality opponents with his feet. He is overrated and unless he improves alot people outside of Buckeye nation are just going to slowly forget about him a little bit. I just don't see what he does that is so special. Barkley and Pryor are just hyped on potential now. But, Barkley made the big drive in that game rather than Pryor. Pryor hasn't really accomplished anything. What does he do that is so special?
September 26, 200917 yr Are you kidding Claussen is a legit canndate almost over 1000 yards already with 9 td 0 picks verse legit competition
September 26, 200917 yr Are you kidding Claussen is a legit canndate almost over 1000 yards already with 9 td 0 picks verse legit competition If all that mattered were stats you may have a legit point. The fact that if your team isn't darn near "elite" means you don't win, disqualifies him from having any chance.
September 26, 200917 yr Forcier is way to young to be in this discussion in my opinion. He still makes immature decisions. And that showed today. But for him to come out and step up with a hurt shoulder at the end of the game may keep him in the discussion.
September 26, 200917 yr If all that mattered were stats you may have a legit point. The fact that if your team isn't darn near "elite" means you don't win, disqualifies him from having any chance. WOW that might be the most redundant comment I have ever seen. What so lets say Tebow throws 30 INT's and they still win a National Championship, and he has a completion % of 30% he will win the Heisman? But if Claussen throws 4000 yards with 40 touchdowns but go 8-4 he will not win? Wow what a statement.
September 27, 200917 yr Best and Harris are done. Gilyard is still impressive. Not Jacory? Say it ain't so.:lol::lol:
September 28, 200917 yr I think Clausen would be a top 5 guy right now. I think that now Pike and Keenum would be above him at 3 and 4, but if they can manage this schedule and he continues to put up numbers he has a good shot of getting to NY. I don't think he beats Tebow or McCoy, but he has a great shot of getting to NY.
September 28, 200917 yr Not Jacory? Say it ain't so.:lol::lol: A win vs. Oklahoma would bring his stock back up a bit. I don't think he can win, but he could possibly bring his name back into the discussion. There aren't that many serious candidates right now.
September 28, 200917 yr I think if he is healthy and doesn't miss anytime, It's Tebow's to lose. I think the finalists are: Tim Tebow Colt McCoy Jimmy Clausen With Case Keenum, Joe McKnight, Jahvid Best and Tony Pike being in the running.
