This information is not correct. Over the last 19 games would include seasons '91 thru '95 (no Boyle wins) Danville has won 10 of the last 19. Start the figures in '96playoffs Boyle has won 9 of last 13 games.

I think my point in the line was from '96 to present the record is:

 

Boyle 9 wins

Danville 5 wins

 

Which of course equals 14 games rather than 19. :thumb:

 

To me the series is really in segments:

 

The first segment is '65 to '73 where Danville lead the series 7-2-1 if memory serves.

 

The second segment I would mark from '74 to '79 (Because of the arrival of Ed Rall and the balance for six seasons) and the 2 programs split 3-3.

 

The third segment would be 1980 to 1994 when Danville won every game (16?) and after 1983 they were all blowouts. (1980 also marks the beginning of Duffy's era and Harp built it even more after '87)

 

I would say there was a definite new segment around '95 when the games became more competitive and Boyle actually was in the game. (This of course coincides with the emergence of the Chuck Smith era who came in '92) I would call this the '95 to '04 segment. During this time Boyle won 7 of 11.

 

The current era to me is the Post-Chuck time (after 2004) where the series stands at a 3-2 advantage for Boyle.

 

 

Someone can correct me (as you often do ) but I think then the series is something like:

 

Danville leading with a record of 32-15-1. (Give or take a game or 2 )

There is real good chance you're right. :thumb: The Admirals have zero pressure to win this game. No one gave them a chance in '02 when they broke the Rebels win streak. The Ads are not likely to win Friday, but stranger things have happened. :thumb:

Attitudes are great.:thumb:The problem is these guys are very young...Starting Jr. Q.B. Got hurt after the first game(hamstring).We have a Freshmen Q.B. and few other kids that are getting there first starts at the varsity level.I see them getting better each game.It will all come with experience.:thumb:
