Sorry guys, I won't be able to make it. Maybe Rebel can fill you in on all my great feats of Rebel football lore. :D

All I'm going to say is I hold a record for Boyle County Football that probably still stands.

Most holding penalties in a career. :p

Dang I was hoping you could be here.If Boyle gets to B.G. you have to make that trip.:thumb:

It's a rival and this game is always good. Isn't there a saying going around Boyle County larry French can't win big games.

NOPE

I would call this game a cross town rival game. But a BIG game, probably not.

Big games are playoff games. Thats when the season really counts.

But if you want to call this a big game we can. And just maybe Coach French will figure out a way to win the big game.

Boyle with a running clock.

Go get'em O line. Remember you are blocking for the 2009 Mr. Football

Hey Charles...I will be sitting at the 50 right in front of the press box...

I know Titletownclown will be sitting with us...His Son plays for Boyle...Before the game you guys should come up so we can all meet...Wireman should be there also...Or if you guys would like We could meet before the game down by the track...I would also like to meet Rebel88...I'm sure PP92 would like to hook up...I think He is town this week...:thumb::thumb::thumb:

Can't wait............

The Lexington Catholic win last season at Catholic, puts that saying to rest.

I like your platform idea; however I'm not sure how necessary it is. I sit on the track all the time, at away games. It's usually not too much of a problem as long as you get down beyond the end of the players on the bench. I would contact the school and see if a simpler solution could be found. You could also propose your platform idea at that time.

Where you sitting in a chair at the time, just being able to stand and watch would be much better than sitting. Once the teams get past the fifty then you can hardly make out where on the field they are, At this point your only hope is a good scoreboard keeper and a good announcer. I have sent an email to Larry Vaught (sports editor of The Advocate Messenger" he forwrded the email to Sam Harp and the Principal.

Reply as follows.

From Chuck Stallard (Director ofPupil Personnel, Transportation and Facilities)

I received your e-mail to Larry Vaught regarding wheelchair accessibility at Admiral Stadium. We are in the process of seeking guidance from KY ADA so we can address your concerns in an appropriate manner. I would like to offer you a parking spot on the south end of the stadium where you can view the game from you vehicle. This area is elevated and has a full view of the playing area. If you would like to consider this area, I will be glad to reserve the spot.

I didn't realistically expect them to build anything for this years game, nor was I making that request. I'm sorry if it sounded that way., but maybe by next years Pigskin Classic, if we are invited back. If not, by the next time Danville will be hosting Boyle County in 2011.

Rebel88 it looks as if the Admiral camp is trying to help. I personnaly know Chuck Stallard and he is a fine fellow. :thumb:

Attitudes are great.:thumb:The problem is these guys are very young...Starting Jr. Q.B. Got hurt after the first game(hamstring). We have a Freshmen Q.B. and few other kids that are getting there first starts at the varsity level.I see them getting better each game.It will all come with experience.:thumb:

You have got the right attitude about things for sure, :thumb:. I guess we can't always have spectacular seasons, Mayfield too was very young the past couple of seasons and look at us now, we are 5-0 and beat the defending 2A TN state champions. You are right, it will come with experience and time!!

Yes, I was sitting. You have two options: You can watch from one end and keep track of yardline on the scoreboard; or, if you're active enough, you can move with the team and stay out from behind them that way.

Danville opponents 16-6 Boyle's 4-14

Danville opponents 16-6 Boyle's 4-14

That's interesting.

Danville opponents 16-6 Boyle's 4-14

Good point.

And against those opponents Danville has posted:

18.2 points per game

35.2 points given up per game

Against their 4-14 opponents Boyle has posted:

52.5 points per game

9.0 points given up per game

Schedule or not, it's not a necessary indicator between the two. Danville has played poorly in most outings against that competition while Boyle has done exactly as expected.

I honestly think this game is going to be a better game than advertised.

A week ago I didn't think the Ads had a chance to win or even keep it close.

I think a win for Danville is a huge mountain to climb, let alone make it to the top.I do think they can make it a good game for reasons I choose not to discuss.

What I do hope for is a good clean game from both teams.I prayer there are no injuries, and when the game is over that both teams can feel good about themselves that they gave it their all.:thumb:
