December 2, 200520 yr As College Football season approaches, and the spirited rivalries between area schools heats back up, we feel like it is time for a little friendly reminder. Threads about UK, UL, or UC need to remain that way. If you want to start a thread comparing or contrasting any of the local programs, then you need to state that in the title of the thread. The habit of thread-jacking has become en vogue, and we want to make it clear, that especially in this forum, it ends now. Any and all attempts to divert a thread about a local program into another debate between schools will be viewed as a rules violation. Thanks. I hope everyone's team of choice enjoys a healthy and successful fall season. Forgot this post did we? :sssh:

We have been fairly lenient because football season went pretty well, but since basketball has started things have gone back downhill. If the thread is about XYZ Univ., leave it on that topic. Every thread doesn't have to evolve into how UL compares to UK, and how they compare to UC, and how they compare to Notre Dame. Obviously, as you can tell, it tends to lead to hostility and posts being about other posters and not about the topics. I don't want this sophomoric behavior to drive good posters out of this hot Forum. We really do not want to have to be closing well developed threads, but we are going to have to if we can't follow this simple request. Thanks.
