September 15, 200917 yr Didn't know about this, very very interesting stat. Maybe explains why they have been so effective over the years.
September 15, 200917 yr Interesting stat but it really means nothing to me without a comparison to other teams or the league as a whole.
September 15, 200917 yr I think that it means that they have a great game plan that puts receivers in a lot of 1-on-1 situations where they can make plays. Helps to have Randy Moss on one side of the field.
September 15, 200917 yr 60% of their total plays are shown on ESPN, either on SportsCenter, ESPN news, NFL Tonight, or Primetime.

Helps to have Randy Moss on one side of the field. I understand that but unless I know what the other teams are doing then the actual stat means nothing to me. How do I know that the league average isn't 61%? (I don't actually believe that, I'm just making a point)

September 15, 200917 yr Mix in one of the best QBs, one of the best coaches, four great WR's, a super TE and a three great backs and you'll have that from time to time.
September 15, 200917 yr They run a lot of things with Moss running up the middle and Welker catching short passes and running A LOT. This doesn't surprise me too much. Now that I think about it though, doesn't Ocho dive to the ground 75% of the time he makes a completion?
September 15, 200917 yr Interesting stat. Here's another from Sunday night. 31% of Chicagos 2008 scoring came from the defense or special teams.
September 15, 200917 yr I don't know how this stacks up with the rest of the league, but I think it speaks volumes about Brady's ability to get the ball out quickly, to make the right reads, to hit his guys in stride, and hit them in spots where they have some space to work. JMO
September 15, 200917 yr Is there anything more beautiful in football then when Brady is perfectly in synch and it just looks like their isn't even a defense on the field? When they really get rolling, he sits comfortably in the pocket and just picks the defense apart. He had a subpar game last night and still managed 2 TD's and almost 400 yards passing. The only other thing that rivals the beauty of the Patriots' offense might be a well-tuned option attack like Navy or Air Force (when they're really good).

Brady is simply the best and it's not too close IMO.
