September 14, 200917 yr BTW, am I the only one that doesn't even find the video for "Single Ladies" to be all that good? I mean, it's just them dancing around in a room... I didn't either, and then my wife and her friend tried to dance to it (my wife is an excellent dancer) and neither stood a chance. It is very underspoken how well they moved in that video b/c it is in black and white.

I understand it might be great choreography and dancing, but as a video, I don't consider it all that impressive. How would it differ from say, a live performance of the song? IMO a video needs to set itself apart.

Kanye is an idiot, but he'll get more publicity out of it. Everybody feels so bad for Taylor Swift because "she's only 19." I don't feel bad for her because she's only 19. She's been in the business long enough to know that some people are jerks. I feel bad for her because she sincerely appreciated the award (unlike some performers) and somebody went out of their way to rain on her parade. I heard the clip with Beyonce & Taylor swift & gained a lot of respect for Beyonce. Very cool. I watched about 6 minutes of the VMA's last night. Unfortunately, I caught Lady Gaga's performance. The worst (and weirdest) performance I have ever seen on any level.
