Seemed like alot of missed tackles again tonight by the birds. The Withrow band was very good.

I would like to say that the Withrow facilities are AWESOME.

 

Was not expecting the Cincy police to ask us if we would be tailgating and then point us in the direction for a Highlands tailgate.:thumb: Wish I had known that before today.:thumb: Still turned out fine. As I found out during the game from one of the officers, they were completely expecting us to tailgate and hoping that we would.:clap::clap:

 

Also I must say, the Withrow Band was the best pre-game and half time entertainment that I have seen in years. Make that many many years.:clap::clap::clap::clap::dancingpa

 

Gracious hosts indeed... the fans were great, the band was awesome and the facilities reminded many of a small ivy league campus. The police did a heck of a job getting all the cars out of the parking lots. Withrow really put on a great show this evening...

As someone mentioned 4-0, all away games, no games where it was in doubt and they really haven't come close to putting a complete game together. Lots to be optomistic about. Congrats Birds!

Yet people still predict these massive blowouts. 4 weeks in a row those people have been proven wrong. Be realistic. Or else 2 weeks from now will just be all that more heart breaking.

 

As for the game, I did hear Highlands fumbled 4 times in the red zone, so it could have been worse. But again, it "could" have been. That has been every game, how it "could" have been.

I agree with you, they are three TDs better than any team in NKY. They'll still win 5A. But at this point I don't think it will be a great game. (St. X and Highlands). Don't care, just be realistic.

ANOTHER nice win for the Birds tonight. I'm not sure what everyone wants, this team is 4-0 against top competition. Get off the kids backs! This team will continue to improve. The offense moved the ball up and down the field and the defense held tough by not giving up any points. Nice TEAM win!

Oh Gosh, I know lol...saying that they'll still win 5A and are better than any team in NKY really warrants a "take a hike". Maybe you're one of the overzealous fans.

Maybe the Birds are not showing everything? I'm sure they will have some tricks up their sleeves for St. X. May not be enough to win, but I think it will be a decent game.

 

I have no clue, but a W is a W. And one over a Ohio team is always nice.

I think the "best team ever" was a little too much for this team to live up to, every game we seem to predict a blowout and then asking ourselves after the game why it wasn't?

Birds played a decent game. Have to cut down on the fumbles. Withrow looked better and eliminated the unforced turnovers that killed them against Winston Woods. Nice Defense tonight.

He was harsh but not too far out of line. Highlands is THE program in NKY and the state in 5A. They have a new QB, a new RB and are feeling their way still. What they aren't is an elite greater Cincinnati team. There is no shame in that.
