IMO The RAM off. line and def. line are doing a good job. But on off. the rec. and QB's are not hooking up. Lack of exp. I'm sure. We have dropped some really big passes. And the QB's have trouble finding the 2nd and 3rd open recs. But their is hope. With experience ie.. playing time, they will get alot better. The def. has had so much pressure put on them all year. And for the most part. They have done a great job. I think the offense has given up more points the the defense.

The offense and defensive backs really need to work hard to catch up with the rest of the team. And they will if they want. They are well coached. It has to be really hard on the coaching staff to see some of the silly mistakes this TEAM is making. IMO we have the best coaching staff in eastern ky. And if the players will do what the coaches teach and play hard we will be just fine. It's all about ATTITUDE. And when I say play hard. I mean PRACTICE hard and do what you are told for the eight to ten hours getting ready for each game. Then put it all on the line on FRIDAY NIGHT. I feel better now.

Great post 68 1 :thumb::thumb:, I feel better after reading it. This is what Ram, sidelinedoc and myself have been preaching all season. "Team"..."Attitude"....."Listen to coaches"......"Practice, Focus"......."cut out silly mistakes". Rams, I for one am not giving up on you and I am sure the other "true" fans are not. There is an entire district schedule yet to play, those are the ones that really matter and advance you to and through the playoffs.

I said before that it is time for a "Ram Pride" check. Reach back, look inside of yourself. Heart, Pride, Hard Work, Focus, Dedication and TEAM, not me......Do you want to commit to these things? This season can turn around if you want it to but it is up to you.

I think coach is going to practice team all week, even Friday, we have a bye week, this is the first time Greenup County has been injury free, we usually use this week to heal up, 2 weeks is a long time to wait to watch the team play again, I think coach will incorporate some new wrinkles into the offense, we have 9 days of practice, to work to get better.

Raceland will be fine. They are the victims of unreal expectations by their fans. They lost arguably their best senior class EVER. Some on here were saying LCA and Blazer were their only possible losses. Very unfair to this team. The coaches will continue to work hard and right the ship in the coming weeks.

Thank you old rambler, I see the Rams turning this around, they have played 4 tough games and 3 were on the road, injuries and mistakes, penalties, and this will tear a coachs heart out, the team will really have to get it together this week, do you agree?:notworthy:

I agree we really have to get back on track! We really need a win to carry with us into district/rival play that following week!

Raceland has some talent, great backs and Rister is a good QB, made some excellent throws that put our backs against the wall.

Same could be said of Russell fans over the past few years. Some actually question whether Coach McGlone knows football. That is insane. The same thing is happening with the Raceland coaches now and it's crazy. CP, you're right about expectations but I don't think it is unfair to rate your team high. Do you really want people in the stands or on here or in the school saying, "mail this year in, you can't be that good."? I actually think it is a good thing that the players, coaches, fans and student body expect nothing worse than 8-2. I sure don't want to be around a group shooting for 2-8. Raceland has been unfortunate with injuries and inexperience but trust me the talent is there. I just don't understand how and why the offense can't get in sync. Our defense has played pretty well but it can't continue to on the field so much. Our offense needs much more than a bunch of 3 and outs.

I have heard very little talk about how good Russell would be this year. No outlandish expectations from Devil Land. Devils will go 7-3 6-4 and be playing no worse than second round of playoffs. You guys lost the best class in your history. It is not easy to replace your entire backfield and two stud lineman.
