NWA did so on the tune "100 Miles And Running," which is one of the most intense, angriest songs I've ever heard in any genre. In the past I haven't actively searched out much but lately I've found that it's the genre I've been most interested in.

I also need to add "Black Steel In The Hour Of Chaos" by Public Enemy, "Express Yourself" by NWA and "You Gots To Chill" by EPMD to my earlier list. I drifted away from hip-hop in the early '90s, but still enjoyed Tupac, Dr. Dre, Snoop, Wu-Tang, Tribe Called Quest. I've been backtracking and buying some Outkast lately, and also want to re-explore Biggie and Jay-Z. What album is that on? In the past I haven't actively searched out much but lately I've found that it's the genre I've been most interested in. "100 Miles And Running" originally came out as a EP with a couple other songs on it. It was released in between the "Straight Outta Compton" and "Efil4zaggin" albums, and later re-issues of "Efil4zaggin" had the songs from the EP on it. It also appears on the NWA Greatest Hits compilation.
