Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter

The other thread got me thinking about who has played the best "villians" in movies....

For me it starts and ends with Alan Rickman as Hans Gruber in Die Hard.

He was my first choice ... Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal is a close second.

My vote is for Hannibal Lector. 16 minutes of screen time and a Best Actor award for Hopkins.....

AverageJoes- nice mention on A Clockwork Orange.

I've always been partial to Gary Busey as Mr. Joshua in Lethal Weapon.

Richard Dawson in The Running Man

Henry Fonda in "Once Upon A Time In The West".

Bad, bad, evil man in that movie.

As for women, Kathy Bates was as mean as all get up in "Misery".

The captain in Cool Hand Luke, "What we have here is a failure to communicate."

Denzel Washington in Training day..

Heath Ledger as Joker
