I disagree. The evidence is not equally stacked. You have the statement of his Kenyan grandmother vs. the statement of his American grandparents AND a Hawaiian birth announcement 40 some years ago. Again, stacked equally, you have a point. Otherwise, it's just partisan bitterness.

I don't believe they've ever been forced to, but I'm pretty sure they have all willingly produced their birth certificates.

I don't think his citizenship is what is being questioned by all this. It's whether or not he's eligible for the POTUS.

Cylde, I'm with you 100% on this issue my friend, other than I don't think any part of it is funny; I think it's all very sad and disappointing. Not a Chris Mathews fan but I was actually cheering him on when he took on G. Gordon recently on the issue. Good lordy, there are so many legitimate issues to intelligently discuss and debate about the direction Obama, Pelosi and Reid seem to be taking this country. Even if there was any question originally, they've produced a Certificate of Live Birth (or whatever it was called) which they showed on Mathews show; please move on people. You completely undermine your own credibility on other issues when you try to "black helicopter" the birth place issue.

I agree. I think it's hard to make the leap that he was born in Kenya. I'm not an O fan, but it has nothing to do w/ him not producing a birth certificate. I think it's bad for people who don't like his policies that people focus on this non issue.
