Cylde, I'm with you 100% on this issue my friend, other than I don't think any part of it is funny; I think it's all very sad and disappointing. Not a Chris Mathews fan but I was actually cheering him on when he took on G. Gordon recently on the issue. Good lordy, there are so many legitimate issues to intelligently discuss and debate about the direction Obama, Pelosi and Reid seem to be taking this country. Even if there was any question originally, they've produced a Certificate of Live Birth (or whatever it was called) which they showed on Mathews show; please move on people. You completely undermine your own credibility on other issues when you try to "black helicopter" the birth place issue.

2) It would seem simple enough to just provide the national media a copy of his birth certificate.

 

It is interesting though that there is no real party in the national government that has to certify a candidate's eligibility.

Wasn't it mentioned that McCain was born in Panama or something like that while his dad was on a tour of duty?

If my wife and are were traveling overseas or on a mission trip 14 years ago, would my children not be eligible for the US Presidency?

US military bases abroad are considered to be american soil, I believe, so McCain had no problem.

 

Children born to a missionary overseas would NOT be born on american soil. He/she would NOT be eligible for the presidency.
