Tweeting may take about a total of 15 to 20 seconds, so anyone saying that this will take away from his concentration just simply does not get it. Chad is going to have his thoughts and feelings about the game regardless, so why not let him type it out and share his thoughts with thousands of interested people?

Because your apologizing for 85's bad clubhouse influence is inconsistent with your harsh take on Hamilton's negative clubhouse influence while in Cincy. Why does Chad get a pass from you but Hamilton doesn't?

I'm also a Fan of Chad...When he says such things like moving in with Carson, or getting a tattoo on his face who falls for that...If the whole NFL shut up and play it would be boring. Let the man Keep entertaining people that’s why he gets paid so much.

The fact we are having to debate the length of time it takes to tweet on your cell phone speaks for itself in this debate. From the time Chad gets to the sidelines, takes off his helmet, picks up his cell phone, and then types in a message, it is going to take longer than 15-20 seconds. In a game decided by seconds often times, if I were employing Chad Johnson and saw him tweeting when he should be reviewing formations, going over routes, or what not, I would take his cell phone and throw it in to the garbage and would feel justified doing so.

 

With that said, I have said before I think it would be a good idea to have someone along NFL sidelines employed by the NFL to give tweets of what is going on along the sidelines. But not by a player who is payed to be at his very best for these 3 hours of a week.

He gets paid so much to produce on the field. As long as he does that the other stuff is trivial. So, if Chad gets back to putting up pro bowl numbers and contributes, I really don't care about the sideshow. If he doesn't he'll go away fasr enough anyway.

Sure it does. As someone mentioned in the previous thread, the offense just doesn't sit around when the defense is on the field. They go over what is working, what isn't working, and what changes they need to make. I'm sure Ocho would be real involved in those discussions while he's tweeting.

The same amount of time as it takes any other player to catch their breath and gather themselves by drinking some gatorade or wiping themselves off with a towel is the same amount of time it would take Chad to type out "Ed Reed can't cover me."

I think "he's a jerk" is more of a decision each person can make for themselves. Not a fact at all.

Chad Johnson is a side show. He's not good enough to get the attention on the field anymore so he's trying to do everything possible off the field to keep the attention on him.

 

He'll stink it up even more this year most likely IMO.
