July 15, 200917 yr I'm disappointed. Chicknation needs to stand up for its rock'n'roll pioneers. I think you need to revisit "Barracuda" and "Straight On." Those are two of the truly great rock songs in the American canon. Not the first time someone's been disappointed in me. :lol: When I listen to them, it's like nails on a chalkboard. Don't know why, but they grate my nerves something fierce. They're not the only of the "greatest" I don't like. I get reamed all the time about my musical dislikes. :lol: I'm a big girl...I can take it.....as long as you don't make me listen to the music I don't like.

Journey is not Journey without Steve Perry. I'll pass. And BTW really like the Eagles and Heart. Old REO is ok. I do not like any of their commercial stuff. I too had a friend that played PF ALL the time. It made me dislike them.

All agreed that they were awesome and there was no difference in the voices of the new guy & Perry.

July 17, 200917 yr A couple of friends and myself drove to Dayton OH to see Heart in the mid 80's and they were great. I can't remember who opened for them though.
