His policies are socialistic leaning. He is for government intervention, increased spending, increased taxation, and increased government say in corporations and business. Is he a socialist? I don't believe so, but he definitely seems to be the most socialistic president we've had, and none of that has a single thing to do with his skin color.

The way I look at it's time someone put a hold on the crazy thing we call capitalism when we all that isn't true. For way too many years the gap between the rich and the poor has grown out of hand. It's time someone steps up and does the right thing. You all really irk me with your comments, I could care if you are speaking out against the man and I'm not going to call you a racist for doing so, but what has this man done.

 

Well how about we just go by the words of Martin Luther King and look for a day we are judged by the level of our character and not the color of our skin.

It matters not to me whether he is white, black, green, blue, purple or whatever.

 

I didn't vote for him and won't vote for him because he thinks it is okay for this country to stop the heartbeats of unborn children.

I hope you are not talkingabout Obama when you say Jeb is better than the one we have currently. My goodness you guys give the man a break. If I can recall correctly no other president has been watched as closely as Obama, and I wonder why?? It has nothing to do with his policies I just wished you guys would have the courage to say it's about a black man here. We have had some sucky presidents with sucky policies and weren't as scrutinized as this man at this time of his presidency.

Just remember how things can change, Mr. Bush and his lies, so don't forget. And oh yea Jeb a good governor, just wonder how he's doing after tampering with voter machines to get his brother elected. Na, not Jeb.

When I seen the headlines I thought it was George Bush. That would have surprised me if he said that. Much like Clinton was Bush has been fairly quiet and not being critical of the new president.

Who defines "the right thing"? It really irks me when people refuse to look at the evidence of Obama's socialistic tendencies. Can I assume that by your description of capitalism that you are a socialist? How much of a gap between rich and poor is "in hand"? Or maybe in your utopia everyone would be totally equal regardless of any efforts one may have made to better themselves?

All I am saying that if things were fair from the beginning then I would have no problem. Problem is that a lot of old wealth in the United States was due to not paying out any wages for the labor. You tell me is that capitalism at its best or what. My problem is that greed is the problem we have as Americans. How much is enough?? We break our knecks and morals to make ourselves stand out in the public eye. There is no need for it. We work hard to not enjoy it later. That greed has gotten us to where we are right now. No there is nothing wrong with making it but there is also nothing wrong with sharing either. That is the protestant way isn't it, you work hard and then along with that you help your neighbor. Where did we lose sight of that as Americans?? So if you are saying that we need to help our own before another nation or country. If you are saying that helping one another is a my own little utopian world then you can label anything you want. At least this man is trying to do that without his own agendas or agendas from his father.

There are many, many more effective ways of helping your neighbor than through channeling your money through government bureaucracy first.

Even if he were a true socialist he still wouldn't say it, he knows he would have never been in office........ That argument holds NO water at all.
