North Korea

Featured Replies

I think it is time for not only the United States, but also Japan and South Korea to put North Korea and it's 1/2 pint leader in check. This jerk is a serious threat to the World.

For them to launch missles today proves this idot lacks respect. It is time for Uncle Sam and the boys to teach him some manners.

No way with Obama in office.....he will probably apologize to them for something.........

That is exactly what this nation needs, another conflict involving the US military! Yes, Korea needs to be dealt with but this must be in conjunction with her neighbors who will have more influence than the US on this point. China, Russia, and Japan, and South Korea. These are the nations with the most to lose from an aggressive North Korea.

Yeah, you're right, we should just sit back and let them make threats to the US....

The UN will pass more stronger resolutions. That will get their attention this time.

I find it hilarious we attack and take over a country with not one weapon of mass destruction but yet we do nothing to a country who is building them and threatening us............? :ohbrother:

N Korea loves UN sanctions and resolutions...they generally follow them to the letter :isurrender:

Please, North Korea is increasingly more paranoid and more beligerent every single day over nothing. They are a nation that is crazy enough to nuke their neighbors into oblivion if given the oportunity.

Now I don't think we should go guns blazing into Pyongyang right now...but i'm very skeptical about U.N. resolutions.

My first inclination to response would be like yours. However I think logistics are more important to making the RIGHT decision and I think that is the gist of what "loyal" was getting at.

Because heavens knows, the US has NEVER been wrong about anything.

Were not perfect but what in the world do we need to apologize to that egomaniacal little tyrant for?

:deadhorse: I guess the fact that the entire world including Pres. Clinton and Sec Albright said they were there isn't enough. No one though Iraq was a laughong matter when we went with a UN Resolution and full UN support.

Nothing. I did not mean to imply that we owed North Korea anything.

However, some believe that any admission of ever having been in the wrong means that you are unpatriotic. I had a lengthy conversation with my father about this on our recent drive from Kentucky to Colorado. Dad served in the Army prior to and during Vietnam. Bottom line of the discussion is this. My father has a tremendous love of our country, but feels that we have been wrong in some of our decisions and that doesn't make us any less of a country or people in admitting so. I already felt this way, but it felt really good to know that someone that served our country, the same person that I respect more than anyone in this world, felt the same way.

I would say the intel was wrong..........

Again, NK has the smoking gun but we do nothing. Iraq had nothing they were just another middle east country that hates American and not afraid to say it. NK publically displays their weapons they even shoot them off into the ocean so we can watch and we just sit here... ? Guess they don't have any oil.
