June 13, 200917 yr Is it legal to gun someone down in their church? That might be some of the outrage. Further, for those that are pro-life, they realize that violence such as this sets back their cause.
I would amend this slightly. For some that are pro-life...
June 13, 200917 yr Why the outrage over the death of this doctor? He made a career out of killing. Sad...

Further, for those that are pro-life, they realize that violence such as this sets back their cause.
I would amend this slightly. For some that are pro-life... Yes, true...except if one is truly pro-life, he/she doesn't support murder of anyone.
June 13, 200917 yr Yes, true...except if one is truly pro-life, he/she doesn't support murder of anyone. Amen
June 13, 200917 yr I'm not saying someone should have killed him, that I'm happy about it, or think it was justified. I just find it confusing why all those who support killing unborn children are up in arms over this man's death. Why no tears or outrage over the babies he killed? I am 100% against abortion and murder. If you support abortion why does this bother you? A life is a life. This guy's was no more special than all those who he killed. That maybe to hardcore for some of you bleeding heart liberals but that is how it is.
June 13, 200917 yr I'm not a bleeding heart liberal. I'm not going to say I am for or against abortion either. I think it is a very personal choice, and the person who makes that choice will have to live the rest of their life with that choice. You never know the medical condition of the baby or Mom.
June 13, 200917 yr This country needs a hero in the worst possible way. This country needs Jesus Christ in their lifes, in the worst possible way.
June 13, 200917 yr This country needs Jesus Christ in their lifes, in the worst possible way. i couldn't agree more.
June 14, 200917 yr I'll go out on a limb and say that Jesus would be extraordinarily disappointed in the use of murder as a form of protest.
June 14, 200917 yr Violence is, has always been, and always will be, the answer to many sticky problems. Getting picked on by bullies in the fifth grade?? Kick someone's butt real bad and the bullies will look for someone else to pick on. Problem solved, three days detention in cost. Country overrun on Yom Kippur holiday after years of vagueness at the border?? Full-scale military assault not only counterattack country who invaded, but also attack countries on Northern and Eastern borders to reinforce the message. Border boundaries clear for at least 20-25 years. Cost = about 200 lives, some tanks and 3-5 aircraft. Doctor openly practicing barbaric murder under color of law at renowned clinic?? Shoot him in front of his church. Clinic closed; doctor dead. Cost = one life sentence or possible death penalty. World is less two scuzzballs. I don't know, the whole "violence solves nothing" mantra never really worked for me.

June 14, 200917 yr I agree that the mantra is bogus; but this post could be interpreted as a defense of the killer. It gets back to my "he needed killin" excuse that a jury might use as justification.
June 14, 200917 yr It gets back to my "he needed killin" excuse that a jury might use as justification. Does this defense hold any water?
