Mack The Knife Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Just mowed the lawn and have now popped the top on my first ever can of Burger. Bought a 12 pack just yesterday.:ylsuper:
Jim Schue Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 First-ever for you? That kind of surprises me. I didn't know they even made the nasty stuff anymore. Then again, maybe they don't, and you just bought a 20-year-old 12-pack.
All Tell Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I've never even heard of it and I consider myself a connoisseur of trash beer.

Mack The Knife Posted May 30, 2009 Author Posted May 30, 2009 I really don't ever remember drinking a Burger throughout the years. I have been drinking Schlitz recently too.

Jim Schue Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Hey Jim! Guess what I tried last night...and loved it. Trend-oid.
dolamite Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Didn't know you was talking about an actual brand. For awhile I always referred to Budweiser as being pork-chop in a can. May have to try the ole' Burger Beer. Experiencing college lets you have the opportunity to drink all kinds of dirt beer, so I'm sure it'll be just as good if not better. :thumb:
Irish Cat Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Never heard of "Burger" beer, but I've noticed a new brand selling at a store around me. It called "Beer Thirty" and you can get a 30 pack for $13.30. At that price I would guess it has to be horrible.
Birdsfan Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Trend-oid. :lol:I don't even know what that is.
Birdsfan Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Never heard of "Burger" beer...Burger was popular in the Cincinnati area back in the 70's and before.
Dlbdonn Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 When I was a kid Burger Beer sponsered The radio Broadcasts of The Cincinnati Reds with Waite Hoyt and Jack Moran .

I really am in no position to say anything, having grown up with Baltimore's National Bohemian. Made Schmidt's of Philadephia seem like champagne.
