A little FYI about the pictures Ram posted for me. I took these at a reception we had for Sebastian on Friday May 22, 2009. He had to leave Saturday morning at 7 am to return to Sweden. I received an e-mail from him last night letting me know he was home safe and already missed everyone here in his "second family". He signed off by saying, "I love ya'll". I guess we left an impression on him.:lol:On a second note, I wish he could have participated in the Track and Field State competition. He had the longest throw in Shot Put this year in 1A and had a great chance to win the State Title.

 

We love you and miss you, Sebastian.

It's because we fed him so well, he probably gained 20 pounds while in Raceland.

We will never be able to replace Sabastian. He will be sadly missed.

I have met alot of the RAM family over the years and they are a special breed of people, thanks for the story. While I am at it RKC Coop Dog will be featured in a small film on the Cooper High School web site in the next week or so. When it is up and running I will let you all know what a tribute to part of the RAM family. JD

We may have rubbed off on him a little. Sweden will never be the same.

Yes, he was at Raceland for only one year. Raceland's school year ends on June 2, but I am not really sure why he had to leave on Saturday, I guess it's a foreign exchange student thing. We wanted him to stay one more day so he could compete in the State Track Meet, but he could not.

I had him over to the house. All I can say is he likes to eat. Great young man. My son thought the world of him. We will miss him deary. Its like missing a part of your family. I guess you could say he is family.

I hope someone remembered to suggest to him that BGP would be a great way to stay in touch with the Ram family and their football team.

I e-mailed Sebastian and he confirmed that it roughly translated to "you dirty rat". He thought this was hilarious! And just to let you know, I think he might have been a little more profane that your guess.:lol:
