JJ Redick, serendipity....

JJ is still a liability on defense and there are plenty of good shooters that CAN play defense in the league..

JJ is far above and beyond the term "Good Shooter". He is one of the premire shooters in the league. Now no he does not bring a whole lot else to the table, but there is always room for someone who can put the ball in the basket. I'm not saying he will ever be an all star, but once the kid crosses the state line you had better guard him because he is in range.

50% from behind the arc in the postseason is nothing to dismiss. That is impressive. Like him or not, he can flat out shoot.

He's a stand still shooter in the NBA and until he improves off the dribble he will be nothing more than a decent role player.

Hey, don't you talk about my JJ!!!!:eyeonyou:

Okay, so he's slow and can't chase the average NBA 2 guard around the court, he obviously brings something to the table if the Magic are starting him IN THE PLAYOFFS in place of an injured Courtney Lee. You guys can't let us Duke fans have nothing......:isurrender:

There are many flaws in JJ's game, but I don't care. He is one of my favorite Dukies ever and he is getting a chance, in the NBA playoffs no less, to prove he can help out a team somehow. I am happy for him and hope he can have a career similar to Steve Kerr's. He'd be really good on the Lakers. He's Luke Walton with a great jumper.:thumb:

The one Duke player I LOVE... I don't know how you can't like a guy like JJ... I hope he continues to get time.

He played for Duke is enough for me. Nice player though, can flat stroke.

Hilarious!!!!!!!!

Nobody is saying JJ should be a starter, but from numerous interviews, there aren't 5 guys in the league that can shoot with him.....pretty cool from my perspective.

J.J.'s gone 2 for 14 the last two games..

If it were a 3 pt. shooting contest during All-Start weekend, JJ might be a good selection for you. As much I like Redick, beyond that I would not have him taking many shots for my team.

Orlando wins but J.J. was 0 for 7..

Now it's getting even worse.
