I really cannot stand Dwight Howard. It has more to do with the fact that he tries to act like he's a good role model, but he isn't exactly "christ-like" on the floor like he tries to say that he is.

No he's really not. LeBron is good enough to get you alot of wins during the regular season.

 

Mike Brown gets outcoached on the regular though. Not just this series. He makes zero adjustments. Take this series. What is killing Cleveland?

 

1. Offensively they go through lulls where the ball is held on the wing, and then a shot is fired up with under 5 seconds left on the shot clock. You cannot win in the NBA like that.

2. Defensively everyone talks shooting for the Magic. That is created by the pick and roll. The Cavs cannot play it by switching the screen (obviously) or even hedging the screen. Tonight during the run they have played under the screens....not good even in a 5th grade game. To start the game the Cavs fought through and over top of the ball screens and pushed Turkoglu or whoever out. That is how you have to play it. That is the only way to play it vs. the Magic. An NBA coach should know that and see what is working.

3. You have to foul Howard. I don't mean the crap they've done this series which is play poor position defense and give him an And-1. I mean foul him, keep the ball off the rim! That is what you have to do. They haven't done that enough.

4. The players that kill you on the Magic are the role players. When they get going the Magic are tough to beat. Pietrus, Alston, Lee....they cannot have good games. The Big 3 will get their points, but when everyone is clicking they spread you pretty thin.

 

A good coach would work to stop all of these. None of the things I mentioned are that hard to do, or impossible for the Cavs to do.

Maybe decent. I really think the Cavs just played harder than a lot of the other good teams during the regular season. They have a great player and a couple of decent players and that's it. They have no wing players other than small guards after LBJ.

In another year or two I predict Dwight Howard will be undefendable. As soon as he develops a couple of big time post moves, which he is currently working on, he'll be right behind Kobe and LeBron.

Need to add some size in the backcourt in the offseason. Maybe a youthful, high leaping big man as well.

Should have been a no call. It was not going to stop LBJ from going to the basket. You can't call a normal foul there though either. A no call would have been best served.
