I can tell you right now the CFIT won't be played there, it's not fair to the other 13th region schools who don't get invited to the Tournement. As for your other question...well I'm not exactly sure!:idunno:

 

I have no problem with the CFIT being played at the Arena. After all, the CFIT is a Corbin thing. However, the regional tourney belongs to all. If Corbin wants to play in the Arena when their turn comes around, that's fine.

I'm saying Corbin fans and players should not be the only ones who never have to travel. I'm also not convinced that anyone would make any money on this with the exception of the Arena. No one has offered to show me differently.

 

Playing every game in one's hometown with no travel is a big advantage regardless of what floor it's played on.

I see your point and I agree with you, but look what the teams in Pikeville's region does every year.

It's a no-brainer and after second thought, it will get voted in IMO. People's going to disagree because it's in Corbin, which for them, is a lousy excuse IMO.

The All A should split with all the A teams involved, they are the only teams that can play in this tourney. The crowds for these games would mostly be fans of the smaller schools and thats were All A money would come from. The region is open to all 17 teams and a much larger (IMO) more important event. I can see KC wanting to keep things the way they are now, they have the only gym large enough for the region in their district, a money maker for them, but not fair to LC, Pineville, and B'ville. Wonder if KC splits their region money with those schools?

Bear in mind I don't represent KC, I just have a football helmet for a logo. For all I know the coach or administration may absolutely love the idea of playing in The Arena. The views expressed are mine alone.

 

For the record, I don't want the All A money. Just using it to make a point.
