On Fox news this morning they had a retired Colonel, not sure of which branch, but he had the same feelings as Beck. He also stated that there were some who suggested that she have the language changed in the document, but refused and signed off on the docuument. He believed that the job is "above her pay grade", she should apologize and resign.

I never listen to NPR. Because of your 1st statement is incorrect, I am not sure what to make of the rest of your comment.

PTSD isn't just a result of being in war. So as far as you or I know, some may be.

No I am not and I think you know that.

 

I am saying that there are different circumstances for those returning from a war than for those of us sitting on a computer posting on a message board. I do know that there things that go on during war that many people here do not want to hear about. For example, the U.S. military has had problems with female soldiers getting raped in Iraq, by American male soldiers.

 

I am in no way trying to suggest that all returning veterans are terrorists so please do not try and attempt to say that I am. I understand that there could be potential threats returning home from Iraq, therefore I have no problem with the statement that was made. I'd much rather them be on top of things than to just stick their heads in the sand.

 

I can provide a couple of examples of domestic terrorists who were former military. Charles Whitman and Timothy McVeigh come to mind right off. I think to prevent things like this, the U.S. government should provide better care for veterans returning from Iraq instead of just expecting them to assimilate back into society on their own.

I had a friend who brought home the skull of a Viet Cong that he had killed in the war or that's what he told us . Last time I saw him he was using it as a candle holder . That war kinda messed him up .

Like I said, go ahead and ride that train...but I'm telling you the bridge is out. Obama is going for total control of the US. What I can't figure out is whether he wants it to make us a Marxist nation; to make us apart of the one world government movement; he really hates America so he wants to bring us down; or he just loves power.

 

Bush may go down in history as the second worst president of the former United States of America having paved the way for the man who destroyed this country, Barack Obama.

 

And yeah, I'm extremely peeved that this administration is calling our soldiers dangerous to the United States as Obama sends more of them to Afghanistan.

Which is acurate IMO or was the guy who killed the police officers in Pittsburg an extremist, or people who shoot Dr's at abortion clinics, or people who burn down housing developments and destroy logging equipment?
