His point is dead on. We get it. You don't like the President. You don't think that President Bush was treated fairly. You can't, however, simply try to find fault with every thing he does.

I normally do not like Bernie Goldberg, but he was correct in his assessment and I commend him for it.

If this had happened on George W. Bush's watch, Hannity would have been all over the airwaves slathering credit on Bush for his strong leadership and stand against terror, etc.

Here is the bottom line, ....

 

Hannity is a Republican hack, .. no doubt. But at least I give him credit for not hiding his feelings. I don't agree with him and refuse to watch him anymore because it is so bad, but at least he doesn't try to act impartial. He most certainly is not.

 

However, the majority of the media never gave Bush a break about 12 months after 9/11. Anything and everything he did was wrong, .... even the surge, which worked, he was never given credit for. But many of them tried to act like they were impartial, even though they most certainly were not.

 

Saying that, ... while I cannot stand to watch Hannity or Olberman, .... like them or not, at least you know where they stand. Olberman and his female compadre Maddow are STILL taking shots at Bush, Cheney and anyone affiliated with the past 8 years. Just like the day that Obama leaves office (in either 4 or 8 years), Hannity & Rush will more than likely do the same and continue to take shots at Obama, ... even if he turns out to be a great president.

Hannity is a joke. I could never take that guy seriously.

I tune in to Hannity when I'm in the car during the afternoon for kicks. Honestly, I normally prefer to get my news from BGP because we always get both sides. Normally, you can even get both sides from one post from MountainThunder

Yes, Hannity would "have been all over the airwaves slathering credit on Bush" IF his decision was being discredited. I think Hannity's point is that ANY president would have made the same decision BHO made pertaining to the pirates. No need to boast and have shivers running up and down our legs about doing what's expected. Is there?

 

I did my job to a tee today. Does my employer need to praise me for it? No. If I go above and beyond should my employer praise me? Yes.

 

Did BHO go above and beyond by giving the Navy the go ahead to save an American. Considering he's the Commander in Chief...No.

 

And speaking of hypocrisy, and I hate to :deadhorse: here, but what do you call bowing to a Saudi and then instructing the White House to tell us it wasn't a bow? I know it's comparing apples and oranges but I'm sick of liberals constantly making comparisons to Bush.

I quit listening to Hannity. He's tiresome and a hack. I prefer someone who calls out both sides of the aisle.

I agree that Hannity can be overbearing at times. In his defense though, at this particular time there is only one "side" to call out, and when it comes to conservatism, there's nothing to report. Up to this point this admin is about as one-sided as any I can recall.
