Bernie Goldberg Calls Out Hannity

Featured Replies

No need to boast and have shivers running up and down our legs about doing what's expected. Is there?.

Talking point alert ...

Are you saying that Chris Matthews (shiver-boy) is responsible for "talking points"?

An allusion to Chris Matthews in this thread does nothing to further discussion of it.

There has to be a Hannity on the air to counter act that idiot Olberman. He should've stuck to Sportscenter.

Then esplain your "talking points alert".

Sure you can. The Dems have been doing it for the past 8 years.

I remember growing up when my little brothers and I would fight. "Mom, he hit me first!" Thanks for the memories :thumb:

Yes, Hannity would "have been all over the airwaves slathering credit on Bush" IF his decision was being discredited. I think Hannity's point is that ANY president would have made the same decision BHO made pertaining to the pirates. No need to boast and have shivers running up and down our legs about doing what's expected. Is there?

I did my job to a tee today. Does my employer need to praise me for it? No. If I go above and beyond should my employer praise me? Yes.

Did BHO go above and beyond by giving the Navy the go ahead to save an American. Considering he's the Commander in Chief...No.

And speaking of hypocrisy, and I hate to :deadhorse: here, but what do you call bowing to a Saudi and then instructing the White House to tell us it wasn't a bow? I know it's comparing apples and oranges but I'm sick of liberals constantly making comparisons to Bush.

I wasn't on the site during the beginnings of this incident, so I can't say for sure, but I can only assume that multiple people here would have assumed/predicted that President Obama would not have acted without the approval of the UN. Instead, he didn't care for their advice, and he did what he was supposed to do. With the view that many have of our President, I'm sure you would have assumed he would not act without the world's approval- but when he does the opposite, he receives no credit.

On the other hand, if President Obama had began giving direct orders to the navy, undoubtedly many on this site would have criticized him for overstepping his bounds, saying that he is an arrogant elitist who needs to learn his place.

I have a hard time finding a single policy move of his that he has done that I agree with, and perhaps its my teenage naivete, but I think it is only fair to give credit where credit is due.

Chris Matthews' comment has basically become a right-wing talking point ... it has nothing to do with the topic of this thread.

I agree. Kudos from me to BHO on his decisions pertaining to the pirate situation. Good job Barry!

I'm not going to melt over something he did just because it was EXACTLY what he should have done, even though it was a pleasant surprise.

I quit listening to Hannity. He's tiresome and a hack. I prefer someone who calls out both sides of the aisle.

Amen!!!!

Can't stomach Hannity.
