It's May 3rd, any word on new basketball and football coaches or does the search not start until after school lets out on the 30th?

Very true. But it is very hard to be the varsity coach of two sports.

Just a little FYI guys, rumor has it if the Persinger guy get's the job there will be kids leaving. Coach Kelsch in Augusta has already been contacted by not one but four of the parents. Lets hope Persinger get's the job atleast Coach Kelsch sends kids to the next level.

Sounds like those four should have went to Augusta from the start if thats the case. Only complaining I here from parents about Persinger are the ones whos kid didn't get enough playing time or got yelled at by the coach. Some need to cut the cord.

This is what is wrong with BC, the parents trying to run the show all the time. Why would anyone with ties to BC want to try and coach there? I agree their are problems and they start at the top in the administration but letting the parents carry on like they do is beyond me.:popcorn:

At what point did I say that Chad Persinger and Bart Rison were on the same level, or that they were coaching equals? I simply stated that Rison coached both varsity boys basketball & varsity girls softball--meaning that Persinger should not be forbidden to do the same. :ohbrother:

Why would Bracken want to hire another unproven coach like Persinger, who if I can remember was coaching at the high school level, but then went to middle school, when they can entice someone like Jason Hinson, who I know will prolly listen with the finical problems and the uncertainty at St. Patrick. Get a boy who went to Bracken, like the parents, and the fans want, and someone again, who has been to the region. If you can’t beat him, join him!
