We need a viable 3rd party. True, but it doesn't help when WE only point our fingers in one direction. We need a Conservative party, or better yet a party that represents/protects the Constitution. BHO told a reporter that he didn't have time to discuss the pirate hostage situation because he was busy with housing, banking and the economy. What's up with that? He's the Commander in Chief and in reality shouldn't be worrying about refinancing mortgages, what a CEO gets paid or what kind of car GM should make or we should buy. We need a party that gets our government back to the basics.

I did not hear Rove's interview on Hannity, but my point is that this delegation should have thought about some things before they met with this murderous dictator, as it may be former dictator. 73,000 killed by his regime (Brad Cox PHD) Thousands fleeing his dictatorship when they had 1 last chance back in the early 60's. The Mariel Boat Lift during the Carter Adminstration 1000's trying for freedom on overcrowded boats. Or how about the guys who rigged a truck to flotation devices and trying to drive to the US? The immense poverty these people face, which is real no matter what Michael Moore or any other leftist tells you. How many Americans or anyone else are trying to get into Cuba on overcrowded boats or ,for that matter, flying in on a nice, safe plane to live out their lives in this tropical, communist paradise?

Yes we talk with them, but there are no illusions that these people care for our well being. The only reason that Castro was willing to talk to these individuals was to stab the US in the heart by using these individuals and their willful gullibility. Please remeber we had no relations with Russia (USSR) and China for years, but eventually re-established ties out of practicality. A different regime, potentially different dialogue, possible new solutions. That would be fascist, not communist as Kaput is a German spelling.

Several other staff have also disputed the claims but I don't think there's any proof one war or another. It would be interesting to pull the records to see if Biden really has spent hours alone with Bush as he has claimed to have done. That at least should be easy enough to confirm.

All I'm saying if we can talk to them we should be able to talk to Cuba.

We all pretty much agree that human rights suffer in those countries especially China. While the same thing is going on in Cuba a group of congressmen go for a visit that seems to brush aside what is happening down there and act as if everything is OK. As far as Roves statement about the CBC remembering their history I think he meant, look at the suffering of Blacks in this country in the past and realize that the people of Cuba are facing the some of the same trials and tribulations now. They should sympathise with the people of Cuba not the Castro brothers.
