Not to toot my own horn, but I did call Holmes winning it all, and Holmes beating Elliott County.

I still think that Holmes would have beaten Scott County in a rematch. I think that I provided a lot of basketball insight and provided a lot of information that fans could enjoy. I'm not trying to say that I was better then anyone else, I just take pride in the fact that I was able to provide all the members of this site with information that hopefully made the season more enjoyable.

What is everyone else's thought?

Wireman provided a lot of information about Eastern Kentucky, I could give him a vote. I always liked reading Colonel Mikes insight as well. Westsider gave good information and is generally knowledgeable on most of the state. As well as all the names listed above.

I think my point is: BGP has a great collection of knowledgeable individuals that provide a lot of information that you can't find anywhere else.

Eha Rho, you crack me up! Yes, you did contribute A LOT of information this past season, so I think you at least rank in the top 10 as far team knowledge. Welcome Back, and congrats to your bulldogs again!

Nice to see ya back Eta, have not been on in a couple of days. The only thing about my knowledge is mostly of NKY. I will be knowledgable throughout the state next year. Couple of my favs are: TheOldGuy, Eta Rho, and Panda can take a picture. :notworthy:

I think there are many great basketball minds on here. I think there are a few "specialists" that are top of the line. For example, GT is a specialist when it comes to scouting talent and recruiting and he really stands out with his knowledge in those areas. I don't want to "out" anyone on here, but there are a few officials on here that really know the rules of the game and the way the officiating works. Guys like Go Radio and Jim Schue have top-of-the-line expertise in the media/broadcasting aspect of the game. LABS is an excellent go-to guy if you want the insider details of things like Kentucky basketball. Almost every high school has an expert on here that has watched basically every game the team has played - not to mention many of them are actually the coaches, managers, and even players. NETS comes to mind for his inside knowledge of the Morgan County Cougars (there are many others, he was just the first one that came to mind). Eta Rho comes to mind for Holmes, as well. I played in the 15th region and have watched the 16th region for 10 years now - hence, I know mountain basketball inside-out. There are many, many posters on here that have played the game pretty much their entire lives and they all offer valuable insight, as well.

The bottom line - I have visited many sites, especially now that I'm doing my own basketball site, and I find that some of the most valuable information out there is found right here on BGP. Heck, we had guys that said Gillispie would be fired and the Cats would go after 1) Donovan, 2) Calipari, 3) Izzo and then fall to Ford about 2 weeks ago - when the season was still going.

BGP is a special collection of basketball experts and insiders and many of us are very passionate about the game.
