March 31, 200917 yr They had a great run, though. Yes they did. Let's be nice to Memphis, Coach Cal would want it that way.
March 31, 200917 yr Am I the only one who doesn't feel bad at all !?!? Part of me doesn't at all because it's business. But, a small part of me does because I have several friends and aquaintances who work in Memphis and I know they probably aren't happy about this.
March 31, 200917 yr Went down for the Liberty Bowl and all the Memphis fans was making fun of our (UK) basketball team. All I can say now is wait till next year.

March 31, 200917 yr Memphis will be fine. I think they will land another good coach. If they were willing to get into a bidding war with UK, rest assured they will get somebody good. Truthfully, I wish the SEC would invite them to join. I really wish they were in the BEast so they can be joined back up with UofL, but that's not really feasible with how many schools are already in the BEast. I can't stand Memphis St., for the obvious UofL rivalry reasons, but they didn't deserve to be left behind like that.
