Elliot would have no answer for the big boys inside. Central also has a guy who can make shots from the outside if he has any room at all, plus Central is faster than Elliot. Elliot maybe would win, but probably would go down to the wire, it definitely wouldn't be easy.

First I am not a EC fan, but I have seen EC play quite a few times this year and last, and the difference from the 1st/2nd game to the 3rd game in the tourneys that I have seen them play in, is quite different. Playing only five players kills players legs, not an excuse but just plain fact and all the training isn't going to make it any better. You get tired, you lose your legs, you lose your legs your shooting is going to be off.

Wasn't this not suppose to matter? I thought it wouldn't be a problem? Now it's an excuse? C'mon they (EC and Central) are both good teams. EC didn't lose to Holmes because they were tired. Holmes was/is the better team and I think would take atleast 7 of 10 vs. EC or most other teams in the state. I don't think the EC boys would have said anything about being tired costing them the game, so why should anyone on here?

I am not going to say a fresh EC beats a fresh Holmes, but how can you not think it wouldn't be a different game if you have seen both play when both were indeed fresh!

BTW after seeing Boone County beat and play Holmes tough (if for not a missed last second shot) it would have been Boone County moving on to the sweet sixteen. Boone just might be a top ten team.

Holmes is a very good team. I think they are a top 3 team in the state and when they are on top of their game as they were against Lex. Cath. they are unstoppable. I just think that if Elliott County shoots the ball well they would beat Holmes. I really like Coach Henley but there is a player on Holmes that his attitude just makes me not to want to root for them.

Boone may play the second best D in the State. When are people going to realize that defense wins championships. As far as the EC and Holmes match up with fresh legs, are you kidding me?
