March 15, 200917 yr I'm 27 and just learned within the last year. My dad had always tied for me and my wife had taken it up for me since marriage. She then basically forced me to learn and I spent an entire afternoon working on it. But I learned!

March 15, 200917 yr You'll never, ever see me in a tie. I wear a tie for two occasions and two occasions only. Someone has died or someone is getting married. If it makes you feel any better, I can't tie one either MJ.
March 15, 200917 yr Once you get it, don't untie the tie. Just loosen it and slip it over your head and you won't have to worry about it in the future. Exactly. I never hardly have to wear a tie except on a few occasions and I dont think Ive ever seen my dad in a tie so he wasnt much help with it. I had to wear one for football on gamedays my senior year and this is exactly what me and my brother did.
March 15, 200917 yr I only wear a suit and tie when I lector in Church , or at weddings and funerals . Unless it's my kid's wedding . Tying a tie is like riding a bike . Once you learn you never fotget .
March 16, 200917 yr I actually like to wear ties. You'll see me in them sometimes when I'm just out for the night. I didn't know how to tie one for the longest time...got on the internet and learned in about 15 minutes.
