March 12, 200917 yr The season is not over yet. If BCG does return there will be stipulations. Barnhart is not happy, period. BCG has a responsibility to be the face of UK hoops and he has not done that part well. UK invited ESPN and had them tail UK for a while. The lady that wrote the article for ESPN, shadowed the team for four days. She got booted from the lockkeroom a couple of times and got a whopping 8 and half minutes with BCG. He is not holding up that responsibility.
March 12, 200917 yr You all do realize he can change his mind right? That just because he said he's coming back, doesn't mean he actually will when it gets right down to it. It's better than him saying that he's NOT coming back, isn't it?
March 12, 200917 yr It's better than him saying that he's NOT coming back, isn't it? Without a doubt! This is good news. Hopefully, he doesn't change his mind. :thumb:
March 12, 200917 yr Assuming, of course, you feel confident the incoming class signed with UK, and not BCG. :sssh: My primary concern with BCG leaving. At the very least they'd still need Orton.
March 12, 200917 yr Some of you guys would find something to complain about if you won the lottery! Geez, enjoy some good news in a time where it is hard to come by.
March 12, 200917 yr I will be surprised if he comes back next season. If he does, Kentucky will be better than they were this season.
March 12, 200917 yr This is great news to hear and U.K. basketball along the fans definately need some good news right now. I am glad to read a positive thread and news on U.K., has been a while. Thank you Patrick!! :thumb::thumb:
March 12, 200917 yr I just read an article yesterday in quoting his mother in saying that they will see where Patterson stands, and make a decision from there. There is no way he would sit in front of all that media today and say he isn't coming back, with the SEC tourney right there.
March 12, 200917 yr There is no way he would sit in front of all that media today and say he isn't coming back, with the SEC tourney right there. No, but he could deflect the question or say he hasn't decided. "I'm not thinking about that right now, I'm just focused on winning games." or "We'll see what happens after the season." Thats pretty much the most positive answer he could have given.
