The officiating wasn't really that bad until the 4th quarter. Polson was getting killed trying to dribble and no fouls were called. To West's credit, they hung on and hit crucial free throws down the stretch. Congrat's West Jessamine!

Same refs. They were very good in the Lincoln/McCreary game but there were some questionable block calls on McCreary when Polson drove the lane. But what can you do? McCreary should have played like they have been from start to finish and they didn't. They beat themselves, with a lot of help from Jessamine. Polson didn't get anything at will like he did the last few games, but they were just very patient.

 

I hear you. Like you said, better luck next year Raiders. I enjoyed last night's game and I am proud and hopeful for a good showing from the 12th region champs West Jessamine. I look forward to watching both of these teams next year.

Congrats to West Jessamine on the win.

Nothing can compare to the atmosphere of the North/South 12th Region final at Pulaski County in 2001. Sorry. The gym was packed with blue and green on one side and red and black on the other. It reminded me of the old UK/IU games played at the Hoosier Dome.

 

 

I have said this for years! The crowd was so loud you couldn't even talk to the person next to you!

Yea i also think that McCreary didnt play their best game, I thought they had it back together and then they wait till they get to the championship game of the region and play like they did earlyer in the season. But yea both of this teams are every good and I cant wait to see them both play next year. Good Luck West.

McCreary is not a very physical team, with the exception of Watts and Roark they are very soft. Better Luck next year. I have to wonder what if, Watts takes the game over early On. I didn't realize until this morning that those boys at West Jessamine may have been playing with heavy hearts. They lost a classmate to the staph infection known as MRSA sometime yesterday and a candlelight vigil was held for their fallen classmate at the soccer field last night.

 

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone at West Jessamine.
