Agreed! Totally different ballgame if the whistle gets blown!

 

They officiating may not have been to the liking of many of us Raider fans, but the game is over. Take nothing at all away with West Jessamine. They played composed and determined.

Same refs. They were very good in the Lincoln/McCreary game but there were some questionable block calls on McCreary when Polson drove the lane. But what can you do? McCreary should have played like they have been from start to finish and they didn't. They beat themselves, with a lot of help from Jessamine. Polson didn't get anything at will like he did the last few games, but they were just very patient.

 

 

I think alot of people state wide are asking that question not just from the region and district tourney but for the who season.

You know, I thought the same thing. Someone said McCreary fought a war to win against Lincoln and West had an easier game against Wayne. Playing the next night really could have worn them down but I also think that after the Lincoln Co win the Raiders were looking past that final win against West. I really hoped to see the Raiders Rupp bound but maybe next year.

Thats a good question, I havent seen Polson play, but was very impressed with Aaron Watts, I think next year he is the best shooter in the state for sure! But can anyone tell me about Polson?

He drives and passes very well. His passing ability is amazing and usually finds the right people at the right time. Great free throw shooter too.

 

I think all around, Watts is the better player.

It's debatable.

 

Watts is definitely a better athlete, but they are two different kinds of players who do a lot of the same things in different ways, if that makes sense. I thought they were the two best players in the 12th and they both have the ability to take over the game, and I would say that Watts' ability to take over a game is better than Polson's because of his athleticism. Point blank, you can't go wrong with either one and I expect both of them to lead their teams to 12th region final next year, but we shall see. They are both a joy to watch.

I also thought Watts had more help than Polson team wise, but West Jessamine won.

How many points did polson have?

 

18 points, 7 in the fourth quarter.

Watts had 24, with 16 in the fourth.

Polson is 6'1.
