Final from Wayne Co.

Monticello needs to find some chemistry from what I've seen they don't seem to play like a team at times.

The 12th region is spread far enough now, when you consider Wayne and McCreary County to Jessimine Co. and over to Mercer Co.

I don't know anything about Hazard but if they expect to win they better have some really good defense. Polson is hard to handle. He's got one of the quickest first steps I've seen in high school, not to mention he's very illusive and somehow finds his way to the basket. I pick West to win this one.

Eastern by 10 I've seen both teams play this year and corbin is very good but don't think they can handle eastern. Either way should be a great game to watch.

West did beat Wayne by 63 to 61 ( I believe). If Wayne plays with the same intensity as they did against Rock should be one heck of a game.

True they did shoot better than they were during there slump but defensive was much much better than it was during that stretch of games, they also played with much more passion. If they would have played with the same intensity they would not have lost 6 straight.

They looked like they have found their passion and the desire to when, much like they had at Christmas. If they continue to play like they did tonight they could be hard to beat.

Final

I pick Wayne by 5. Even if McCreary wins this game I sure don't see them winning the region. I don't believe they have the team unity it takes to win the region. It takes more than just talent.

Its supposed to be able to seat 1200. I would have never thought it. It may be rated for 1st graders instead of adults.

I think it's great that a young man can hang in there and get the chance to live his dream. True we all want to when, but seeing a story like this should make everyone stop and realize that this is what high school sports should really be about. Here is a young man that has exceeded more than expected and sounds like his passion for basketball help him achieve that. Great story thanks.
