Did Pyles draw up the play to get the ball to the 8th grader to score at the horn or should Stearns get that credit for getting it to her. Does Pyles get the credit for Fothergill missing the free throw that left the door open for the winning basket by Wayne.

No he gets credit for having his team prepared and disciplined. Southwestern is the most selfish team that I have seen in along time. A certain player needs to learn to pass the ball.

I thought this might happen. Wayne is playing their best ball right now. I will give Pyles credit, his teams peak at the right time and are very disciplined. Now someone is going to get a mad Southwestern team in the first round. Hope its not us.

Dreamland I would love for the Warriors to be ready next week but this team has serious issues to resolve. They do not share the ball certain players think they are a one person show. Rice also is the laughing stock of the region

The games I have saw this year they did not utilize the post enough. If you have a D1 post player I think they should feed the post. Rice had better get a hold on this team or its gonna be over quick.

I wasnt going to say anything about the All Tournament team but give me a braek. Raven Fost and Holly Stevens scored a combined 6 points. Also choosing so many makes the takes away from those who actually deserved the honor.

Didn't Fowler from SW make it as well? How in the heck does Salyers not make it?? Didn't she have 19 points in the finals???

 

SW has the most talent in the region but is also the laziest team in the region....with to many I's and not enough WE's.:confused:

 

Rice has never had any control over this team...

I think you are correct Fowler did make it. If Rice dont have control then its a long shot to think they are gonna beat Casey. But anything is possible.

The scuttle in Stanford is that Soutwestern will be looking for a new coach next year. Was told that Rice is 99% moving on to something different. Who would be the front runners for that job? People already in system or outside? With all the talk on this thread about problems, I would think they would get someone out of system so they could start new, without any bias. Big school, lots of players to choose from. Ill bet there will be lots of candidates.
