March 9, 200917 yr Here is what one of the (released) alternate jurors had to say: "I think the (claim of) self-defense has been shot down, from the evidence that I saw," he said this afternoon, adding that it is just his opinion. He said he believed much of McCafferty's testimony, but he felt that she slanted some facts to favor herself. So a juror thinks she slanted the facts towards herself? Interesting.

March 10, 200917 yr I heard former Hamilton County prosecutor Mike Allen saying this was a big win for the defense. I'm guessing Cheryl McCafferty doesn't share in his enthusiasm.
March 10, 200917 yr Apparently I've been living under a rock because I have never heard of this trial. If somebody could post a link it would be much appreciated.
March 10, 200917 yr Sentencing deliberation starts tomorrow AM I have heard it could be 10 to 20. The judge can decide if she wants to make it less. I'm guessing that the 2 years already served may count. Certainly better than 20 to life.
