UofL 2009 Schedule

Is it bad that Lousiville games aren't on national TV, yes. Am I exstatic that I won't have to rush out at 4:30 to try and attempt a pathetic tailgate before a 7 p.m. Wednesday kickoff? Absolutely.

Things have gotten ridiculous lately. Before last season I predicted four wins. We got five. I'll hold off for a little while to see how spring and summer go for the Cards.

I don't have optimistic expectations for next season. Any success we attain I will enjoy, I can deal with losses so long as I see progression to a goal. The last two years seemed like a free fall, by now I want to see the team playing better at the end of the season and have have a hope for the 2010 season.

I always enjoyed the conference shootouts with Southern Miss. Nice to see them back on the schedule.

Gotta get Memphis State back on that schedule. Should be a yearly home-and-home.

It most likely will be after this year, Memphis and Ole Miss are ending their yearly home and home deal, and I'm sure Memphis would jump to replace them with Louisville.

For the first time in a while, I'm not excited about Cardinal Football. That home schedule is TERRIBLE, worst I can remember. I don't expect any more than six wins.

3-9 or 4-8. St.X and Trinity games are safe for the next 20 years.

Except the X/T game this year was moved to Saturday evening because the UL/Pitt game is on Friday night.

I was at practice today, and I have to say this is the smallest, in stature, D-1 football team that I have ever seen. This is very disturbing going into another season.

Ouch. That does not sound good.

I went to the spring game last night, great crowd by the way, and I came away with mixed feelings. I thought we did some good things, I thought the qb's weren't cautious and seemed confidant the WR's did a good job catching the ball. The qb rotation was so constant that all of them played pretty well in my eyes based on the fact that they had little opportunity to find rhythm. I'm concerned about the line play overall by the look test neither side was wonderfully impressive, it will be the question of the season as to how they perform against other competition.

I expect 3 wins this season, I think to look for more is simply to optimistic.

Is this year the bottom or will it be next year? Not a lot to look forward to as a season ticket holder except the tailgating.
