King James
Final from the 15th. This was a battle between two of the weaker teams in the region, but I'm sure Wireman will still be excited about it...

gchs_uk9
So Sheldon Clark moves into the semifinals against Johnson Central. A loss doesn't hurt them, as they would move on to the consolation game, correct? Paintsville is done.

A loss doesn't hurt them, as they would move on to the consolation game, correct? Paintsville is done. The two semi-final losers from the 57th do play a consolation game where the winner will make it to the play-in game against the 59th/60th consolation game loser... Sounds wrong but that's how it is...
mcpapa
^ Is this that super-district, or ultra-region, or something like that?

AirYardGo
No, that's the 59th, but the team that comes in third in the 57th plays the team that comes in 4th in the 59th for the final regional spot.

That's pretty neat I did not know that. Big win for the Cards today, it's always good to beat up on Paintsville.

It has to be like that because it is only a three district region!!

gchs_uk9
Yeah, it's crazy! It has to be like that because it is only a three district region!! And it's a three district region because Pike County (and Sheldon Clark a little bit) cried.
AirYardGo
And it's a three district region because Pike County (and Sheldon Clark a little bit) cried. It's crazy! There should be no three district regions or no three team districts.:idunno:

gchs_uk9
It's crazy! There should be no three district regions or no three team districts.:idunno: It would take a little shifting, but HDE always says that as long as 256 schools are playing basketball, you should never have three-team districts or three-district regions. But the 15th wanted to keep the same old schools, but also let the same old schools keep going to the region. It's a bad setup and it isn't fair to the other fifteen regions.
