I was with a group of folks last night who were telling me that they had been having a debate as to which singer was better - Bruce or Mellencamp. It was 8 to 1 in favor of Mellencamp. The one was a Jersey guy.

 

So I thought I'd bring it to the fine musical minds of BGP.

Neither of them make my pie a la mode, but I'd take Cougar.

Springsteens not bad till he starts spewing his political venom which makes him look like an amateur.. Wouldn't walk across the street to hear Mellencamp...

They are about the same to me, I think Mellencamp is more prevelant in the younger crowd.
