February 12, 200917 yr This didnt happen quite as soon as I posted it would, but oh well at least I was right.
February 12, 200917 yr I am not sure that I understand what that means? Jim Bowden is Reds old GM. He went by "LeatherPants". He's now Washington's GM... Which is why he took all of the old Reds' players (who he had zero success with in Cincy) and traded for or signed them in Washington. And, shockingly, he's not having any success there either.
February 12, 200917 yr I am soooo glad I'm not a Nationals fan. You think being a Reds fan iss touch... they get the Reds rejects! GT love the hat. That is funny!
February 12, 200917 yr He doesn't hit Texas leaguers, park won't matter. I think it will probably cost him about 10 HR's throughout the course of the season. He'll wind up with somewhere close to 30 HR's.
February 12, 200917 yr Sorry for Dunn that he has to go and play for that joke of a GM. I feel the same way, out of the ones he was talking to I was hoping that he would have went with the Brewers. I wish Dunn well and hope that he "tears it up". I will say that Coupon 21 had this one pegged quite a while ago...nothing like inside info. Good job Coup!!:thumb:
February 12, 200917 yr This may cost him a few HR's but lets face it, the guy can hit em' out of the Grand Canyon, he will get his.
February 12, 200917 yr This didnt happen quite as soon as I posted it would, but oh well at least I was right. Looks like he will be fishing the Potomac now.:thumb:
February 12, 200917 yr I think it will probably cost him about 10 HR's throughout the course of the season. He'll wind up with somewhere close to 30 HR's. So, out of the 81 games he plays in Washington, you think he'll get "robbed" of a homerun 10 times? FWIW, here are the dimensions of Nationals' Park: Left Field- 336 Feet Left-Center Field- 377 Feet Center Field- 402 Feet Right-Center Field- 370 Feet Right Field- 335 Feet
February 12, 200917 yr Why do they call that guy leather pants? Because of his affinity for wearing leather pants...
