Connelly at WR ( could be a big surprize next year)

 

Will Timmerman play QB? If I remember right, didn't he play there freshman year? And Connelly? Did he play much last year?

 

 

TROY Timmerman played QB freshman year, but because of weakness at LB, switched.

Alex "Cubby" Connelly started WR for us starting with the Beechwood game. He did very well.

Also watch out for Leo Schaefer, who is coming back from injuy.

What exactly did Schaefer hurt again?

St. X has a bunch of really good kids this year that are juniors like Daylen Hall, Devonte Beach, Jjay Hayden, Lamount McMurry, Luke Brohm, Rreid Wesley and Matt Wilson and the db positions.

Rule 13

Lamar Dawson, LB, TE, FB from Boyle County has to be mentioned in this thread. He is 6'1" or 6'2" and @ 215 lbs. He is getting bigger, stronger, and faster by the day and will be a defensive standout for the Rebels this year. He'll also help us out a lot on offense as well. I expect him to contend for our area's player of the year.

Just one of the underclassmen Knox Central has returning. I know some think KC's season was the result of an unusual senior class, but I believe Coach Mills has built a winning program and winning programs replenish themselves year after year.

I'm hoping that Fort Campbell's Tim Williams shines.

 

I do think that Fort Campbell's Tre Powell will do pretty well as a Junior next season.

I know the St. X Wilson kid is a speedster who can bring it and leaves it all on the field . Will playing time be available for many of the juniors at X this coming year ?

Strongs senior class means back up roles for many of the X juniors.

I know about a pretty good QB that plays for Frankfort high. He mostly played jv last year but stepped up and played 2 varsity games and won them both. He has a cannon for an arm and is hitting the weight room right now getting better. With the talent coming back at wideout he will be a player to watch next year!

Rule 13

Caleb Watkins and Ryan Fritts of Corbin both should be 1000 yard backs if not more.

 

Caleb and Ryan will both be seniors next year. It is a little confusing because the football season is 2009 and they graduate in 2010. However, they are both working hard in the weight room. Caleb is benching 315 lbs. , power cleaning 300lbs. and squatting 500lbs. He weighs 205 and is 6'1". By the time the season rolls around he should be a beast to contend with.
