letabrotherspeak Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Rivals has removed him as an Illinois verbal. Three team race from what I hear. OSU, ILL, and UK.
D IT UP Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Good news, is there a time set tomorrow that he will announce
Clyde Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 I read that he has committed/signed his LOI this morning with Illinois. I haven't seen it confirmed although I heard that the Illini site has it. Has UK ever signed a player out of Male?
corndog23 Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Last week Justin Green told the UK staff he was UK bound...Just HOURS ago Illinois pops in and now he is going there. I hate Zook, and I hate Redmond...

NHS BIG DADDY Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 What was so impressive in Illinois that made him want to go there? I can't figure it out. Probably offered him a shot at RB.

strongopenyon Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 What was so impressive in Illinois that made him want to go there? I can't figure it out. Ron Zook of Illinois is a great recruiter. This is a big land for the Illini.
corndog23 Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Thats what I think happend... UK told him the same thing...Im not buying it.
KY Thorobred Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 What was so impressive in Illinois that made him want to go there? I can't figure it out. A better team in a weaker conference.
Clyde Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Corndog - you seem to be letting a decision by an 18 yr old kid get you upset. Relax and enjoy those that have cast their lot with the Blue. Lets not get on Green. He made a decision he thought was best for him. Best of luck. It doesn't matter why. Heck, maybe he liked their accounting program. Who knows.

Clyde Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Who's "getting on Green" ? Maybe "getting on" was not the right phrase but , rather, the questioning of his decision-making.
