How do you guys and girls see this one playing out. I think HC has the advantage by a few because it's in Latonia. Dixie has been playing well of late. Thoughts?

This is a tough one to call with how well Dixie has been playing lately and HC coming off a tough loss to St. Henry.

 

Being that the game is in Latonia, I'll take HC in a low scoring game.

Not very well they need to get back on track. And maybe, just maybe...put up 50 points.

After looking at their scores on riherds it does look like they are struggling to score. Do they not have any shooters?? How come nobody ever talks about Giwa?? How is he doing this year??

Their style of play makes them have low scoring games, they are not struggling to score. Giwa is averaging about 18 points a game.

I think it is a far stretch to say he is averaging 18pts a game. That means he would have to have around 324 points thru 18 games. Didn't see it in the HS stats on cincinnati.com.

I'll take the Indians by 8.

This will be a very hard game for Holy Cross to win. It's been almost two weeks since they have last played, and they are going up against a very hot Dixie team. Holy Cross is going to have to play well to win this one.

If Giwa gets his points they will need Trimpe and Easton to be shooting well.

Dixie has been playing well lately but this is going to be a style of basketball they have not played against yet. You have to play defense for a very long time on HC possessions and be extremely disciplined.

 

I think it is a toss up but will take HC by 3 because of the home court and experience.

Holy Cross is tough down in the Finn/Box. I'll take the Tribe by 7.

Not all of the games they have played are posted on cincinnati.com, but I'm pretty sure he's averaging around 16 to 18 points a game.
