January 27, 200917 yr Wintergreen burns the ole lip too bad if I'm dehydrated at all. It may burn, but it is the best feeling in the world when you are stressed out and looking to just chill. I used to smoke, but I can't stand the way I smell, or the taste I get in my mouth afterwards. Neither is good, but it is more considerate to chew around others than to smoke IMO.

Yea I typically tend to agree that it's easier for people to not look at you than it is for them to not smell you.
January 27, 200917 yr I'm an occasional dipper; or was before I had to practically float a loan to purchase a can of Skoal. Wintergreen - yes. Copehnagen - no. Reminds me WAY too much of a cat litter box in dire need of changing.

January 27, 200917 yr You'd switch to grizzly mint. That's what I did.:ylsuper: That's my #1 selection as well! :thumb:
January 27, 200917 yr I tried snuff for the first (and last) time about 25 years ago. I was visiting a friend and he got out some type of wintergreen scented snuff and put it under his lip. I said, "Man that smells good." He said, "It is good. Here try some." Well, after about 10 minutes I was one of the sickest individuals in the world. I went to the bathroom, threw up, and had to lay down for about 30 minutes. That was my last attempt at snuff. But it still smells good.

Yeah, I love having a rocket propelled spit, filled with smelly, black, tobacco flung towards my shoes. Just nothing else like it IMO. But seriously, I think it is more considerate to take a puff and blow the smoke away from the person than to have someones jaw puffed out with black stuff on their teeth and spitting into a can/bottle or on the ground all while you're trying to have a conversation with them. Edited January 27, 200917 yr by ScarHeel

That's why I'm trying to quit.
January 27, 200917 yr Nothing compares to a fresh can of cope. I've already made it clear what I think compares...:scared:
January 27, 200917 yr Always check the date on the can before you pay for it, some stores buy an old date of snuff at a reduced price, then sell it at the same price they normally do. I always check the date. Big snow on the ground and I have a full roll of Skoal, I am ready.
January 27, 200917 yr Winter Green Pouches to be exact. Picked them up from a newer gas station in town. I get home, open the can and take a look inside...they look really dry. I turn over the can and the expiration date reads 12/05/08 :madman: If the weather weren't so bad I'd go down to the store and give the man behind the counter a piece of my mind :fight: I bought a can of cope one time at Bigg's in Florence and it was three months old and it was the freshest can ever.

I don't know though, the smoke smell can really get to people. Maybe it's because I've lived in Eastern KY for about 10 years that I find it more acceptable. Both are disgusting habits I admit, but doggone it, once someone gets you hooked on either; it's hard to quit.
