January 24, 200917 yr They are 5-0 in the SEC with 3 Roads win. I don't care how bad the SEC is. The lead the SEC at the moment. That wasn't the answer to my question at all...
January 24, 200917 yr What's with the oh brother smilie BBI? That's a legit question. Why is everybody all bent out of shape if they're not ranked. It doesn't have any effect on the SEC race. :notworthy: :thumb:
January 24, 200917 yr Of course they don't. They hate UK just like Billy Packer and the rest of the media. :deadhorse::isurrender::ohbrother: :thumb::thumb::lol:
January 24, 200917 yr As for this game, a very good conference road win for the Cats :ylsuper:. They overcame some problems in the first half to finish strong. Then again, anytime you can look downto the other bench and see Mark Gottfried on the other side you know that yopu have a chance . Not too much to celebrate, still waiting on word and praying for Ramon Harris :thumb:. GO BIG BLUE!!!
January 24, 200917 yr IMO although the rankings have no where near the impact as in college football they do carry some weight. If you are currently ranked and continue to move up throughout the year it will potentially give you a better seed come selection Sunday. Obviously the higher seed the better the match up in the early rounds are almost guaranteed. Although the Cat fans travel well wherever they go, the closer to home the better.
January 24, 200917 yr If the Cats aren't ranked this week, then the system is way off base. How so? I think they will be ranked, but not sure they should be at this point.

Just to debunk a myth, rankings are not mentioned in the selection room...
January 24, 200917 yr Meeks 27 points 9 REB 3 STL Stevenson 16 PTs 12 REB Two very good performances, good thing they keyed on Meeks to shut him down, uh? :sssh::lol:
January 24, 200917 yr As mentioned earlier, the only numbers/ranking I am concerned with is 5-0 and #1 in the SEC.
January 24, 200917 yr How so? I think they will be ranked, but not sure they should be at this point. If they are 16-4 and 5-0 in the SEC, they should be ranked.
