Also, there was a movie about a Jamaican bob sled team a few years ago that had a great ending, but I can't remember the name of it.

I voted for Roy Hobbs' home run. I love that movie.

Also, there was a movie about a Jamaican bob sled team a few years ago that had a great ending, but I can't remember the name of it.

When Tim McGraw give his son the ring at the end of Friday Night Lights. Gets me every time I almost lose it.

 

I was just going to type this myself!! Very touching moment. There's probably a lot of us that at times have "over-critiqued" our son in their sports play (though hopefully not to the degree that McGraw did in the movie!). I am guilty of it. This was just a great "feel-good" moment of a dad expressing his love for his son and pride in his efforts.
