How long do we wait?

I don't know. You seem to think you know alot, or more than me or others anyway, so why dont YOU tell ME ;)

I think it's more like you seem to have a personal vendetta against Maile. It would be great if anyone else was a capable scorer on that team, but they really aren't.... at least not consistently. Maile needs more touches. They should implement a rule like Holy Cross had last year with Sorrell, where he touches it on every single possession. You keep wanting to play a "team" game, but what's best for the team is for Maile to touch it everytime down and take the majority of the shots.

If that is best for the team, maybe Maile should just go out by himself? I mean what is the use of the other four on the court. In your opinion he can do it all on his own right?

Exactly, wrong. I have NO personal vendetta against Maile. Don't even know him, beyond watching him play. My brother is pretty good friends with him. I just have played and watched and coached basketball all my life, and I know that the answer to a team winning ISNT one person being the ONLY factor. Last year HC didn't get too far with Sorrell as their "touch every possession" guy, it's DEF not going to work for CovCath.

Like HC last year, that is the only choice they have.

Again, we NEED Maile to score his 20 points a game. We need someone else to get the opportunity to score that much as well. It's not all mailes fault. He needs his teammates to take better shots, MAKE shots, etc. But he needs to learn when to give them the opportunity to do so instead of forcing things.

But again, if he is the only chance, let the other four sit.

I've already told you. You keep insisting we wait on players to develop that simply haven't developed. Right now our best scoring options seem to be Maile, Thelen, and occasionally Ives. The biggest mystery and the most potential for improvement is Wellbrock.

Instead of speaking in generalities, how about telling us who can be the next options and why they haven't been yet.

According to you and some others, our only scoring option is Maile. I'm not saying we wait on them to develop, I'm saying they NEED to.

Generalities are all there is. I don't know who is going to step up. I just know someone needs to.

I'd have to agree with you there on all parts.
