I'll stick with my last prediction . . . Elliott by 48!

Elliott may not have took to kindly to the rough play of West Carter in the first go around, therefore I think they will come out fired up and it will get ugly. Elliott by 30+ because coach Mays won't call off the dogs in this one.

I really don't like that if we can't beat you, we will beat on you mentality.

I hope this doesn't sink to that type of game. Good luck and a safe game to both teams. That being said, I think Elliott County will win by somewhere between 15 and 40 points, but they will win. The margin of victory will depend on the type of game that West Carter decides to play.

I agree. I think this one could actually get worse 27 points. I think with the bad blood in the first game and talk of WC possibly being the 2nd best in the region the Lions will look to make a statement.

WC will have to handle the ball well and rebound to stay in this one. As someone mentioned in another thread, they do play hard, so they will give their best shot. I guess we'll see on Tuesday in the Hill of Olives.

I wasn't in attendance at the first game, but from what I was told, it was deliberately rough. Hopefully, the officials can figure out a way to get the game under control if it starts to get chippy.

Yep...intense is a good description....they make me a little nervous though. I remember at the East game a West kid took a dive into the scorers' table (going after a loose ball).

 

Love the hustle--just makes me nervous.

West is playing well this year. I look for Elliott to come out fresh after a couple of days off.
